Hal itu setelah puluhan warga, yang rumahnya rusak dan retak melalui kuasa hukumnya, Agung SH telah menyampaikan tuntutannya ke Direktur Utama PT Pertamina (Persero), Jakarta, belum lama ini.
“Kita sudah sampaikan (tuntutan) itu, bahkan sudah ada yang mengajak ketemu membahas terkait persoalan ini, tak lama setelah surat itu disampaikan,” ungkap kuasa hukum warga, Agung SH, kepada Pengurus Daerah SMSI kota Prabumulih, Kamis, 11 Agustus 2022.
Tak hanya itu, Agung juga menyampaikan, bahwa salah satu petinggi Pertamina di Jakarta, sudah sempat menghubungi salah satu warga di kota Prabumulih, yang rumahnya juga ikut terdampak dan mengalami kerusakan, agar tidak meneruskan persoalan tersebut dan dijanjikan akan segera diselesaikan.
Namun demikian, pengacara senior dari ibukota provinsi DKI Jakarta ini tetap meminta pihak PT Pertamina untuk merespon dan melaksanakan isi tuntutan mereka, hingga persoalan itu dianggap selesai.
Dia katakan, ada 3 (tiga) tuntutan yang mereka sampaikan terkait permasalahan dan kegiatan dari perusahaan pelaksana seismik PT Beureu Geophysical Prospecting (BGP) Indonesia.
“Semuanya ada tiga tuntutan, pertama meminta BGP jangan beroperasional dulu khususnya di wilayah Sumsel sebelum kisruh soal pembayaran ganti rugi terselesaikan dengan baik.
Kedua, meminta agar setiap pembayaran dari Pertamina ke BGP ditunda dulu,” tegas Agung, sembari menyebutkan satu per satu isi tuntutan warga.
Selanjutnya, pengacara kelahiran kabupaten Muara Enim ini juga membacakan isi tuntutan ketiga, yakni mendesak Dirut Pertamina agar menyelidiki oknum di belakang permasalahan pembayaran yang terlunta lunta tersebut.
