ONews-id com (OKI)–Sebanyak 264 orang petugas kebersihan dilingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir menerima zakat dari Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kabupaten OKI. Penyaluan zakat tersebut diserahkan secara simbolis oleh Wakil Bupati OKI, Dja’far Shodiq, Jum’at, (14/4/23) di Kayuagung.
“Alhamdulillah, hari ini kita salurkan zakat yang dikumpulkan dari para muzakki di melalui Baznas OKI. Hari ni disalurkan kepada sebanyak 264 orang petugas kebersihan. Masing-masing mereka mendapatkan Rp 200 ribu,” ujar Ketua Baznas OKI, Devizon, S. Pd.
Pemberian zakat tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu para petugas kebersihan memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari, terutama menjelang Idul Fitri.
“Kita lihat pendapatan mereka itu terbatas. Mudah-mudahan ini bisa membantu,” kata Wakil Bupati Dja’far Shodiq didampingi Sekda OKI dan Kepala OPD.
Pada kesempatan itu, Shodiq juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada seluruh masyarakat yang telah menyampaikan zakat, infak dan sedekah melalui Baznas OKI.
“Semakin banyak muzakki yang membayarkan zakat Baznas, maka akan semakin banyak masyarakat kurang mampu dapat dibantu.” Ujarnya.
